Terms and Conditions

Strip Ltd reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions where Strip Ltd reasonably considers it necessary to do so. Reasonable notice of these changes will be given where applicable.

 

Cancellation Policy

Appointments at Strip are in very high demand and it is important to us that we try to accommodate our clients as much as possible. To achieve this, we abide by a strict 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments whether made via email, in person, online or by telephone. If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us 24 hours’ notice so we can offer you a more convenient time and help you avoid a cancellation fee. Failure to notify Strip within 24 hours will result in the loss of the appointment and 100% cancellation fee or loss of a course item. This cancellation policy gives us the time to inform our waiting guests of appointment availability. Our aim is to provide an excellent service level and this policy allows us to achieve this.

A credit card must be taken to secure all appointments. No refunds will be given to cancelled or rescheduled bookings.

 

Online Bookings

Please fill out all required fields and provide a valid email address and telephone number when registering for online booking with Strip. To secure your online booking, your card will be charged fifty pence. Once you have made your appointment online, you will receive an email confirming the date and time of your booking.

Should you need to cancel your booking outside of 24 hours’ notice, you will be refunded your fifty pence booking fee. At the time of your appointment, the fifty pence will be deducted from the total owing. Should you cancel, reschedule or fail to attend your booking, full payment will be taken from a third party system for your missed appointment in accordance with our cancellation policy. This will appear as Zanadoo on your bank statement.

Clients with Restricted Access (those who are not permitted to book with Strip, or those that are currently on medication which prohibits them from having treatments at this time): please do not use the online booking function to schedule appointments, but call your salon of choice to discuss eligibility.  The online booking policy is that if you use the online booking facility to secure an appointment when you have knowledge that you are currently on a restricted list, your appointment will not be honoured and you will be charged at the full rate.

 

Treatment Courses

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Treatment courses are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts. Courses purchased at any of our London Salons* are redeemable at any of our London Salons.

*Courses purchased in Essex cannot be used at other locations unless an additional fee is paid.

All treatment courses (except laser treatments*) in a package of 6 must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.

All treatment courses (except laser treatments*) in a package of 3 must be taken within 6 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 6 months will be forfeited.

Laser treatments in a package of 6 must be taken within 18 months of the date of purchase*; any treatments left untaken after 18 months will be forfeited.

Laser treatments in a package of 3 must be taken within 9 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 9 months will be forfeited.

(*To ensure the laser treatment is as effective as possible we recommend that the course is completed within this time frame. Treatment courses that have expired will not be extended.)

 

Gift Vouchers

Please ensure that you bring your redeemable gift voucher to present upon payment. If full or partial payment for your visit is by a gift voucher, this will become void if you fail to arrive. However, we will be pleased to hold the balance of the value of the voucher for future use.

The minimum sale to activate a gift voucher is £10.00 the maximum value credited onto a gift voucher is £200.00 however multiple purchases can be made.

Currently our gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online, but Strip Ltd are working towards developments for this. Strip gift vouchers can be used in any of our London Salons, including Essex, toward any product, treatment or course of treatments. Strip gift vouchers must be redeemed within 24 months from the last date of use. Strip will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers. Please treat gift vouchers as cash.

Strip gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash or other vouchers. No change will be given, but the balance will remain on the card until the expiry of the card.

Strip gift vouchers are unable to be redeemed in our Harvey Nichols concession in Bristol.

 

Patch Tests

For your safety, we require you to have a patch test before we can provide you with any tinting or laser services.

Tinting treatments require a minimum of 24 hours before treatment can commence.

Laser treatments require a minimum of 48 hours before treatment. Clients with darker skin types may be asked to wait longer following a laser patch test to ensure a safe treatment.

Following the appropriate waiting period, we will be happy to treat you safely.

If you have overly sensitive skin or any specific allergies that may be affected by our treatments or products, we also recommend a patch test. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire before your treatment. This is for use by your therapist to ensure your treatment is 100% safe.

We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose any medications or condition that may affect your treatment. Please inform your therapist or technician of any changes in your health on subsequent visits.

If you are unsure if you can have a particular treatment for any reason, please speak to a member of staff at least 24 hours before your appointment.

 

Laser

All laser treatments must first have a patch test to determine your eligibility.

To assess the treatment area for a laser hair removal patch test, hair must be present in the area.

Subsequent laser hair removal treatments, following the patch test, must have a complete absence of hair. The area must be shaved the morning of the appointment to ensure no stubble is present. If the area is not adequately clear, you may be ineligible for treatment and be subject to our cancellation policy, incurring a fee for missed treatment or forfeit of a course item.

Laser hair removal is subjective and a small percentage of people will not respond satisfactorily to treatment. Strip cannot guarantee permanent results and maintenance treatments may be necessary. Strip is happy to consider bespoke packages for individuals.

If you believe you are having an abnormal reaction to a laser patch test, this must be assessed by a laser technician as soon as possible. The salon must be called within 48 hours of the patch test, so we may be able to book you in with our laser technician to assess your skin. If it is determined that your skin is contraindicated to laser treatments, your course purchase will be refunded to you.

 

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information we collect from you. We subscribe to the principles of UK data protection legislation. We do not share any of your personal information with any third party organisations.

 

Retail Refunds & Refunds in General

Refunds or exchanges are available within 14 days of purchase, with a valid receipt.

Returns must be made to store of purchase, in a re-saleable condition with tags intact.

The following items are not eligible for exchange or refund: skincare, lingerie bottoms, hosiery, men’s boxers, adhesive bras and SOS products.

Sale items are exchange only. ‘Sold as seen’ items are a final sale and will not be accepted if returned.

Refunds may take up to 28 days to process before the funds are available and cleared in to the account from which the original payment was made.

 

Christmas Returns Policy

Full price items purchased online or in store throughout December can be refunded or exchanged until the 14th January. Our standard terms and refund conditions still apply. Please note we do not give refunds on sale items. Sale items can only be exchanged within 14 days.

Promotions

Promotions will vary between different Salon locations and are only valid in the location advertised.

Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offer.

Time restrictions may apply to promotions and may vary based on Salon locations.

Strip Ltd has the right to cancel any promotions running at any given time.

E-Commerce

From time to time we may issue promotional discount codes to individuals or groups of people.

Each code will have its own specific terms, for example when it is valid from and until, and what discount or offer it provides you. However, general terms for the use of voucher codes are: – They are not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount, promotion or on sale items – They cannot be used to purchase online gift vouchers – They are only available for your sole use and will not be valid if passed on to third parties – They are not valid in any of our Salons.

– Discounts are not transferable and cannot be redeemed by Strip staff and family – Strip Ltd reserve the right to withdraw or alter any promotion at any time at their discretion without prior notification.

Method of Payment

Regrettably, we cannot accept cards without a chip and pin. We currently do not accept American Express & Diners.

Clients with Restricted Access

Those who are not permitted to book with Strip, or those that are currently on medication which prohibits them from having treatments at this time.  Please be advised not to attempt to make a booking whilst you are on restricted status, either by telephone, walk-in, email or online booking, as this will result in your appointment being cancelled.  You will be charged in full for the appointment, or you will lose a course session, as per the cancellation policy.
