HR ADMINISTRATOR - Full time 40hr p/w £20-£21k
Strip is an exciting, dynamic and fast growing Retail & Beauty company that has been operating for 6 years. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to be based in our Chelsea Head Office, the role will also cross over to the administration and organisation of our Press & VIP bookings and enquires. This position will suit someone very grounded, organised and pro-active. This roles offers the right candidate great development and progression opportunities.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the administration and organisation of the recruitment process from job advert to issuing employment contracts, meeting new starters carrying initial induction and giving introductory tour.
- Ensure all paperwork for employees is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain all employee records, HR filing and up to date Company organisation charts.
- Update sickness absence records
- Process changes on HR system to employee details and payroll
- Produce monthly performance reports
- Conduct interviews with managers when required.
- Manage the administration of relevant HR processes including reward initiatives, appraisals, probationary periods and employee satisfaction and profiling surveys.
- Assist with the administration of all employee communications (e.g. letters, newsletters, e-mails, employee handbook)
- Attend Disciplinary and Grievance meetings.
- Ensure effective HR service is provided to managers and employees.
- Provide an effective administrative and secretarial service to the Directors and Area Manager.
- Update the Company SOP manual.
You must possess the following:
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
- Worked in a customer focused environment
- At least 1 year’s experience working within a HR department.
- Able to respond to all levels of enquires in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
- Understand the need for confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues and in keeping confidential documents secure.
- Proven IT and telephony skills. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Committed to equal opportunities.

- Proactive and uses initiative to suggest improvements to a process or service.
- Good written and oral communication skills. Able to write letters, reports, manage and interpret data and make recommendations.
